What is Wellness Coaching?

Wellness coaching is a specialized service offered at our mental health practice to support individuals in achieving their personal and professional goals. Unlike therapy, Wellness Coaching includes SOLUTION-FOCUSED & PRESENT/FUTURE-FOCUSED consultations. Coaching benefits individuals with a growth mindset and belief that they can grow, evolve, and improve their situation. which focuses on addressing and healing emotional and psychological issues; life coaching is future-oriented to help individuals create positive change and enhance their overall well-being.

Our mental health life coaches are trained professionals who work collaboratively with clients to identify their strengths, values, and aspirations. Through a series of structured sessions, they help clients clarify their goals, develop action plans, and overcome obstacles possibly hindering their progress. Life coaching is a proactive and empowering process that encourages individuals to take ownership of their lives and make meaningful changes.

In mental health life coaching, our coaches utilize evidence-based techniques and tools to support clients in various areas, including career development, relationships, personal growth, and overall life satisfaction. They provide guidance, accountability, and support as clients work toward their desired outcomes. Coaching is not Therapy

Coaching and consultation services are not meant to take the place of local mental health resources, support, or treatment if those services are necessary. They do not include an assessment for mental health diagnosis and therefore are not covered by health insurance.

Coaching is available via phone or video, in addition to in-office visits depending on the provider.
